Spencer has been exploring the medium of clay for 10 years. He first began taking undergraduate arts classes at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA and quickly became enthralled by all that clay has to offer. His work focuses on functional wheel thrown pieces that feel natural and comfortable in the hand. Spencer teaches at his local community studio in Brooklyn. He sells his work mainly at craft shows and fairs throughout the NYC region as well as online when possible.
